its time to update~ *HIMB test and mi last few words to HIMB*

yea...juz yesterdae...(28-12-2004)we had a test for e band members of himb...yesh...a test...haha...well...some played well...some did not...

well...szeming n i took e sl...while e sl took their members...okie...so szeming n i were in e room waiting...while waiting...we were eating...wahaha...den e 1st sl cum in...n e test begin...when all e sl are done...e percussion had their test...i went to look 4 e oboe player to gif her her test...

well...after test n band...went out wif shuan...den we went to settle e results...here's e overall i conclude...

1. Unexpected results from some members...well...wat can i sae?im shocked by them...but...never-e-less...i shld nt mention who are tis pple...it might b GOOD or might be BAD...i shld not sae... =Þ
2. Our Band need more oxygen unless they r willing to breathe more...due to lack of air...himb sounds bery thin...if there's more air...e sound will b nicer...
3. No dynamics difference...e band is a monotone band...unless they understand wat's e diff between f n p n wat is cres.n decres....they cannot sound like they r playing nice music...now...they sound like they r juz playing...NOTES...
4. Articulation...accents,stacc.,etc are noted that its not clear...well...if they still dun do it...i tink tis is a boring band...
5. Intonation...they haf nice wave~ PLEASE LAH!!!U PPLE!!!CAN U ALL JUZ LISTEN ACROSS???TAKE NOTE OF UR PICTHING CUM INTONATION!!!TUNE WIF ONE ANOTHER!!!DUN WAIT 4 PPLE TO TUNE WIF U!!!DOTX LOR!!!so horrible...i dun like e wave...their wave is like...OMG!i shld nt sae more...
6. HIMB gt no feelings...in some comments i see frm e sl...they sae tt...their members gt no feelings in their playing...I TOTALLY AGREE WIF U SL!well...its time they haf some feelings...IN THEIR MUSIC~
7. Sitting position...bery "nice" sitting position...some wif them legs open n far apart...some haf weird sitting position...oh man...HOW NICE!
8. Our Band members noe how 2 tap dance~ amazing rite?haha...wat i mean by tis is...when they r playing...they tap their feet...nth really wrong bout tt...BUT THEIR TAPPING SOUND SO SO LOUD!!!for eg...when they a rest note...they can hear e "tap" sound frm their feet...HIMB MEMBERS!!!PLEASE STOP TAPPING UR FEETS!!!TAP INSIDE UR SHOES!!!
9. Attire...so untidy...tt's all i haf 2 sae...
10. LAST OF ALL...gd luck to those who needs a re-test...its not tt u r bad in ur playing...n its nt tt u r gd in ur playing...its juz tt we wan to listen to how u sound like...izzit like wat ur sl sae...blah blah blah...BUT...still do take it seriously...

im glad most of u took e test seriously...but...some members r nt really putting in all their efforts yet...

mr tan is back...hopefully u all gif him wat he wants...note wat he wants down in ur scores...haf a pencil wif u guys all e time...mr ng is a fun instructor..but still we still haf to gif him his level of respect...he is always fun in front of u guys...so gif him wat he wants...till now...u all r still nt really gifing him wat he really wants...mrs chua is a gd instructress...dun always let her scold u...coz she's a bery fun lady when she's nt angry...learn frm her son...ryan...he has bery gd concentration level...U ALL NEED TIS ALOT!dun always wonder when u guys can go home...if u all r gd...u r sure 2 b able to leave earlier...i believe our band instructors dun wan to keep u guys too long too...they haf a long dae like us too...ur new band president shuan,co-operate wif her...yesh...she is strict...but she haf her reasons...bear wif it...if e pass batches can bear wif even stricter n fiercer scoldings...u all can too...gif shuan a chance not to scold u guys by producting wat u all need and by prac alots more than u all r doing now...

PLS PLS PLS bring ur instrument back to prac when ever u can...if ur neighbours/parents tinks tt u r noisy...open ur cupborad which ur clothes r in...blow ur sound into them...ur clothes will take in e sound...it will b less noisy...*tis is mr tan's method he taught mi batch*if u really really cannot bring ur inst back...at least bring ur file...4 brass inst...u all can bring back ur mouthpiece...4 woodwinds inst...smaller ones...bring ur inst...bigger ones...at least ur files...4 percussion...ur sticks...even ur triangle...ur acc. inst...u all can bring it back...juz loan it frm e QM...i believe they will allow u to do so...PLS always bring back ur file...look thru ur parts...TAKE NOTE OF UR NOTES!some r still playing e wrong stuff now...take note of e tings ur instructors wants frm u all...dun let them repeat themselves over n over again...if possible...MEMORISE UR SCORES N LOOK AT E PERSON CONDUCTING U!

HIMB...u all can do it de...u all still haf bout another 4months plus to work hard...take sectional seriously...rite now...im still seeing some sections not serious wif their sectionals...its time 2 wake up pple...DUN ALWAYS PLAY WIF UR PHONES DURING SECTIONALS!medals is not an impt ting...e most impt ting is...u guys make beautiful and melodious music...rite now...wat u guys r playing r juz notes...n notes...n more notes...u all still need lots of prac...

i will b leaving HIMB for 1yr now...u all wont b seeing mi anymore unless im free to go back...hopefully...without mi...u all will do better...prac more...coz e bad person of e band will b off...PLS PLS PLS...work hard...dun let our instructors angry animore...oso...if there's any performance...go watch...listen to them...learn frm them...but pls learn e gd stuffs...it will really help u guys lots on ur playing...horn section...pls work hard on ur own now...grace n ying ying...call mi if u need help...i will try mi best...flute section n saxo section...pls take ur sectionals seriously now...there's still signs of slacking...oboe section...work hard...trumpet section...mr ng is always there to help u all...but during sectionals...do still b serious...trombone n eup section...u all r doing fine...but dun slack...clar section...huanying...its time 4 u to b serious liao...help ur sl...they r still young and might need ur help...percussion section...do lots of sectional still...eln...dun always sit while taking ur section...they r all standing...stand wif them...tuba section...all i can sae is...DUN LET SHUAN DOWN!

Thus,i shall take mi leave frm himb...i apologize to all instructors and teacher-in-charge and seek 4 ur understanding tt i need to leave HIMB for a yr to prepare 4 my major exams in 2005...i will b back after mi exams...to serve in HIMB again...i will look forward to tt dae...but if u shld need ani of mi help...pls still do feel free to find mi...im most willing to help u all after learning so much frm u all!

Here...i gif mi thanks to mr tan mr ng and mrs chua 4 teaching mi so many stuffs during mi stay in HIMB throughout tis yr though im already a grad member...i gif mi thanks to szeming shuan sean and alice 4 all e encourgememnt u guys gave mi to keep mi going in HIMB...i gif mi thanks to mrs ganesan 4 her care n concern...i gif mi thanks to mrs tan mrs nathan and mdm heng 4 not chasing mi away whenever i go back...i gif mi thanks to horn section 4 being a nice section n i hope tt they will cont to work hard n work up to mi expectation *hopefully* i gif mi thanks to all band members who brought tears...joy...laughter n sadness to mi life...

In short...i thank everyone in HIMB and i wish u guys luck 4 SYF 2005...juz remember tis...its nt e medal we r fighting for neither are we fighting to win e other band joining SYF...its ourselves we r changelling wif...
